The President of the General Assembly,?H.E. Philemon Yang,?met?H.E.?Mr. Evangelos C. Sekeris, ?President of the Security Council, and H.E. Mr. Bob Rae, President of the Economic and Social Council, on 14 May 2025.?
The Presidents of the three organs met for an informal meeting to discuss issues of interest across the three organs of the United Nations,?including the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ 80 initiative and the importance of coordination across Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ organs for country situations, such as Haiti.
They further discussed the important role the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ continues to play for peace and security, human rights, and development.??
