The President of the General Assembly H.E. Philemon Yang met with the President of Fiji, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere on September 26, 2024.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The President of the General Assembly and the President of Fiji discussed the role of Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in contributing to international peace and addressing climate change, particularly sea-level rise.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

They both reaffirmed their commitment towards stronger international cooperation.<\/p>\n
