Readout of the President of the General Assembly\u2019s meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Union of Comoros, H.E. Mr. Mohammed Mbae<\/strong><\/p>\n

The President of the General Assembly H.E. Phil\u00e9mon Yang met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Union of Comoros, H.E. Mr. Mohammed Mbae, on 27 September 2024.<\/p>\n

The President of the General Assembly and the Minister of Foreign Affairs discussed the urgent need to address sea-level rise amidst climate change and its impacts on small island developing states.<\/p>\n

They both agreed the importance of an elevated platform to continue addressing this phenomenon.<\/p>\n
