New Year\u2019s Message, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

As we celebrate the New Year and look to the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, I call on all citizens of the world to come together in the spirit of \u2018unity in diversity\u2019, recognizing that our differences should not be a source of division but of strength.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

During the current year, 2024, we have achieved remarkable things and overcome immense obstacles.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Together, we will address each of the challenges that lie in our path.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In the forthcoming year, 2025, let us seize the opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments and chart a path forward that allows us to advance together, even further, even faster, towards universal well-being.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As President of the General Assembly, I am committed to working with all parties to end conflicts, usher in peace, work towards economic progress and demonstrate support to our fellow human beings, wherever they are on our planet.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Let us work together to do better, to be better to ourselves, and to each other.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Let us do right by our planet and our environment.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Let us build a world of shared prosperity and human dignity.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I wish you all a very happy and wonderful New Year, 2025.<\/p>\n
