The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Ms. Annalena Baerbock, met H.E. Mr. Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine, on 23 September 2025.
The President of the General Assembly and the President of Ukraine discussed the General Assembly¡¯s clear position on the war in Ukraine and the need for a just, comprehensive, and sustainable peace in Ukraine – one that fully upholds Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, within its internationally recognized borders, in line with the United Nations Charter, international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.
They further discussed the situation of Ukranian?children.
