Readout of the President of the General Assembly¡¯s meeting with H.E. Mr. Abdullatif Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain
The President of the General Assembly, H.E. Ms. Annalena Baerbock met with H.E. Mr. Abdullatif Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain on 26 September 2025.
They discussed Bahrain¡¯s recent election to the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Security Council and the prospects for collaboration between the General Assembly and the Security Council during Bahrain¡¯s tenure in 2026-2027.
They also discussed the situation in the Middle East and the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
