Readout of the President of the General Assembly¡¯s Meeting with the President of the Economic and Social Council, H.E. Mr. Lok Bahadur Thapa
The President of the General Assembly of the United Nations, H.E. Ms. Annalena Baerbock, and the President of the Economic and Social Council, H.E. Mr. Lok Bahadur Thapa, held their first monthly meeting on 9 October 2025, as mandated under the resolution on the revitalization of the work of the General Assembly A/RES/79/327.
They shared their respective priorities of their presidency. ?They also discussed the upcoming calendar of events and agreed to coordinate and align the agenda of General Assembly and ECOSOC in line with Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ80 initiative.
