The President of the United Nations General Assembly, H.E. Ms. Annalena Baerbock, met with the Prime Minister of the State of Palestine, H.E. Mr. Mohammad Mustafa.
They discussed the current situation in Gaza and the West Bank. The President of the General Assembly stressed the need to ensure the full implementation of United Nations Security Council resolution 2803 including with respect to the consolidation of the ceasefire, the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza and the disarmament of Hamas as well as the importance to work towards the realization of the two-state solution in line with the New York Declaration, United Nations resolutions and international law. The President of the General Assembly further reiterated the important role of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA and the need for all parties to comply with their obligations under international law and international humanitarian law.
