Emergency Response Team
The Emergency Response Team (ERT) brings together a multidisciplinary group of professionals with extensive experience in emergency management, security coordination, crisis response, humanitarian operations, strategic planning, information analysis, partnerships, and programme support.
The team supports the United Nations in preparing for, responding to, and managing complex emergencies and rapidly evolving crises around the world. Its expertise spans emergency response planning, surge capacity management, security risk management, operational coordination, crisis preparedness, information and threat analysis, standby partnerships, deployment support, and business process improvement.
Drawing on experience from humanitarian, peacekeeping, development, and security settings, the ERT works closely with United Nations entities and partners to strengthen organizational readiness and support effective responses in challenging operating environments.
