Colin Beavan, widely known as the ¡°No Impact Man¡± for his year-long commitment to living a net-zero environmental impact life in the middle of New York City, has found not just one way, but many. In his latest book, HOW TO BE ALIVE: A Guide to the Kind of Happiness That Helps the World, the acclaimed author and activist provides a compass and companion for anyone seeking purpose, fulfillment, and fun while contributing to the well-being of our communities and the planet.

Moderated by Peter H. Kostmayer, who runs Citizens Committee for New York City. Mr. Kostmayer is a graduate of Columbia University, served as a Member of Congress from Pennsylvania and as a senior official in Bill Clinton¡¯s United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
