The 7th Asian Leadership Conference was held on 17-18 May in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Three of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals Advocates—Ambassador Dho Young-shim, Prof. Jeffrey Sachs and Dr. Alaa Murabit—represented the 17-person group during the two-day event in order to promote the importance of achieving the SDGs.
Thomas Gass, Assistant Secretary-General for Policy Coordination and Inter-Agency Affairs in the 蘑菇视频’s?Department of Economic and Social Affairs, also participated in the conference and moderated a session under the theme “Eradicating poverty:?From receiving fish to learning how to fish.”
The conference was also attended H.E. Park Geun-hye, President of the Republic of Korea, as well as former U.S. President George W. Bush and Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
