The Paris Agreement on climate change is moving closer towards entering into force. During the General Assembly week, 32 more countries deposited their instruments of ratification, bringing the total to 61—one of the two thresholds for entry into force. Mr David Nabarro, Special Advisor on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and Mr. Selwin Hart, Director of Climate Change Support Team will brief the media on the outcome of the General Assembly and the latest developments on the Paris Agreement.
