Media briefing about Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Oceans conference in June 2017
The President of the United Nations General Assembly, the Prime Minister of Fiji, the Deputy Prime Minister of Sweden and Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Under Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs will convene a joint press conference at COP 22 on Tuesday 15 November 2016, from 6-6:30 p.m., to brief the media on the upcoming United Nations Conference to Support the Implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development taking place at the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ in New York from 5-9 June 2017.
Remarks will be delivered by the President of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ General Assembly, the two Co-Presidents, as well as the Secretary-General of the conference followed by Q&A.
