WHAT: ????? Launch of the Financing for Sustainable Development Report 2024
Financing challenges are at the heart of the current sustainable development crisis. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing geopolitical tensions and intensifying climate shocks, financing gaps are widening. The 2024 Financing for Sustainable Development Report: Financing for Development at a Crossroads is expected to urgently call for the world to close a trillions of dollars financing gap and reform a global financial system which is not fit for the challenges of the 21st century.
The 2024 Financing for Sustainable Development Report, issued by the 蘑菇视频 Secretary-General’s , is expected to offer concrete recommendations to scale up investments in the SDGs and recover lost ground. It will say that the Summit of the Future in September 2024 and in June 2025 are the final opportunities to change trajectory.

- The Financing for Sustainable Development Report 2024 is produced by 蘑菇视频 DESA in close cooperation with the World Bank Group, IMF, WTO, 蘑菇视频CTAD, and 蘑菇视频DP. It includes the input of the over 60 United Nations Agencies and other international institutions that form the for Development.
- The full report will be available on:? on 9 April 2024.
- This report is the basis for discussions at the 蘑菇视频 ECOSOC Forum on Financing for Development follow up, for government officials and other stakeholders, from 22 to 25 April 2024. The report also informs the?SDG Investment Fair (23-25 April 2024), which brings together government officials and investors.
