The global fashion sector on Monday (10 Dec) significantly increased momentum to address climate change by launching the Fashion Industry Charter for Climate Action. Under the auspices of 蘑菇视频 Climate Change, leading fashion brands, retailers, supplier organizations, and others, including a major shipping company, have agreed to collectively address the climate impact of the fashion sector across its entire value chain.
New investments in climate action from 蘑菇视频 agencies, governments and businesses, plus initiatives to increase support for Africa, Caribbean, small island states and more were announced at the Paris event.
“The need for urgency is obvious,” said COP23 President and Prime Minister of Fiji Frank Bainimarama, at the opening of the conference.
