Launch of the Financing for Sustainable Development Report 2023 <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2023 Financing for Sustainable Development Report: Financing Sustainable Transformations, <\/em>issued by the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Secretary-General\u2019s Inter-Agency Task Force on Financing for Development<\/a><\/span>, calls for a concerted investment push to set the Sustainable Development Goals<\/a><\/span> back on track, including addressing the immediate crises and finding ways to reduce the cost of capital and target long-term investment in sustainable transformations.<\/p>\n

Three years after the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and more than a year into the war in Ukraine, the world is reeling from skyrocketing food and energy prices, a cost-of-living crisis, and climate-related disasters which have set back progress in developing countries and imperilled the SDGs. The 2023 Financing for Sustainable Development Report <\/em>offers concrete recommendations to scale up investments in the SDGs.<\/p>\n
