The virtual dialogue will feature two panels that will draw on the key findings and recommendations of the World Social Report 2024<\/em><\/a><\/span>, highlighting new ways to ensure transformations at the necessary scale and speed to achieve SDG 1, No Poverty. This hidden violence, which includes stigma, discrimination, and the denial of basic rights, causes deep harm to individuals and communities already struggling with poverty.<\/p>\n This year\u2019s theme, “Ending Social and Institutional Maltreatment,” calls for a united effort to dismantle these unjust systems. It stresses the urgent need to recognize the knowledge and lived experiences of people in poverty, ensuring their meaningful participation in creating and implementing anti-poverty strategies.
