  {"id":17127,"date":"2016-04-22T22:39:22","date_gmt":"2016-04-22T22:39:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.un.org\/sustainabledevelopment\/?p=17127"},"modified":"2018-04-22T12:00:25","modified_gmt":"2018-04-22T16:00:25","slug":"unpa-launches-special-stamps-featuring-angry-birds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.un.org\/sustainabledevelopment\/blog\/2016\/04\/unpa-launches-special-stamps-featuring-angry-birds\/","title":{"rendered":"Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµPA launches special stamps featuring Angry Birds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In March 2016 on the International Day of Happiness, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, appointed Red from the Angry Birds as the Honorary Ambassador for Green.\u00a0 The campaign, featuring the globally renowned mobile game character, encourages young people to take action on climate change and ensure a sustainable and happier future for all.<\/p>\n<div class=\"main-container container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-xs-12\">\n<section>\n<div class=\"region region-content\">\n<section id=\"block-system-main\" class=\"block block-system clearfix\">\n<div id=\"node-768903\" class=\"node node-article clearfix\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-lg-8 col-md-12\">\n<div class=\"content clearfix\">\n<div class=\"content-body\">\n<div class=\"field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden\">\n<div class=\"field-items\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<p>To commemorate Earth Day and to further promote this initiative, the United Nations Postal Administration (Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµPA) will issue a new personalized stamp sheet featuring Red, on 22 April 2016.\u00a0 This will also coincide with the signing of the historic Paris Climate Change Agreement by world leaders at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ Headquarters. The sheet in the denomination of $1.15 is composed of ten Angry Bird images.
