Economic activity in the world economy remains weak with little prospect for a turnaround in 2016, says the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ World Economic Situation and Prospects as of mid-2016 report, which will be launched at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Headquarters on 12 May at 11.00 am EDT.<\/p>\n

The World Economic Situation and Prospects report, produced jointly by the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Department of Economic and Social Affairs (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ\/DESA), the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Conference on Trade and Development (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵCTAD), the five Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ regional commissions and the World Tourism Organisation (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵWTO), is an important annual analysis that provides an overview on current global economic growth, trends and prospects.<\/p>\n
