Three of the United Nations&#8217; Sustainable Development Goals Advocates\u2014Ambassador Dho Young-shim, Prof. Jeffrey Sachs and Dr. Alaa Murabit\u2014represented the 17-person group during the two-day event in order to promote the importance of achieving the SDGs.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Gass, Assistant Secretary-General for Policy Coordination and Inter-Agency Affairs in the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ&#8217;s\u00a0Department of Economic and Social Affairs, also participated in the conference and moderated a session under the theme \u201cEradicating poverty:\u00a0From receiving fish to learning how to fish.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The conference was also attended H.E. Park Geun-hye, President of the Republic of Korea, as well as former U.S. President George W.
