On 16th December 2018 SDG Advocate Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Founder and Chairperson of Education Above All Foundation met with the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵICEF Executive Director, Henrietta Fore and discussed Sustainable development Goals progress and ongoing education efforts. Her Highness then attended the insightful lecture by the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Secretary General.<\/p>\n

Secretary-General Guterres discussed the importance of the United Nations as a peace bridge, an honest broker between countries and an organisation to meet the world\u2019s SDG goals. Sheikha Moza’s foundation Education Above All continues to work tirelessly with many partners, including Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ organisations, to break down barriers to education. Both the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and EAA emphasize that education, represented in SDG4, is a vehicle for reaching many other SDGs.<\/p>\n<\/div>
