From 5 to 7 December, a Bureau delegation led by the Chair, H.E. Mr. Cheikh Niang, visited Dakar to hold its annual Retreat. Following the retreat, the delegation also met Government officials including with H.E Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal, the Chief de Cabinet, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Madame A?ssata Tall Sall, the presidents of the National Assembly and Foreign Affairs Committee as well as with education centres such as the National School of Administration (ENA) and the Centre of Diplomatic and Strategic Studies and. The discussions explored ideas on the strategic thinking needed to address the evolving situation of the question of Palestine and the delegation thanked Senegal for their commitment to the two-State solution and the plight of the Palestinian people.
