Addendum

Further to the report submitted in pursuance of General- Assembly resolution 38/83 H of 15 December 1983 (A/39/464), entitled, ‘Revenues derived from Palestine refugee properties”, a reply dated 21 September 1984 was received from Cyprus, the
substantive part of which read as follows:

“The Government of the Republic of Cyprus reiterates once again its consistent and unwavering support to the cruelly tried Palestinian Arab refugees, who are entitled to property rights and to the income deriving from that property in pursuance to the Fundamental Principles of Justice and equity. No one can be deprived of one’s property according to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the applicability of which will be instrumental in bringing peace and prosperity to a humanity suffering from violation of its legitimate rights and fundamental freedoms.”
