Letter dated 11 April  1986 from the Secretary-General addressed to the

Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations

As you have requested, your letter of 1 April 1986 has been circulated as an official document of the General Assembly and of the Security Council (A/41/259-S/17963).

I have also brought your letter to the attention of the Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (蘑菇视频IFIL) and asked for his comments.  General Callaghan has informed me that, after a thorough research, 蘑菇视频IFIL did not find any evidence to confirm that Katyushas were fired from t:he vicinity of Shaqra. He has also indicated that, after the reported explosion in Kiryat Shemona, 蘑菇视频IFIL observed that IDF/SLA personnel carried out a search inside the enclave south of Shaqra and that the IDF liaison officer made no accusation to 蘑菇视频IFIL that the firing had taken place from inside the 蘑菇视频IFIL area.

Since you have requested circulation or your letter as an official document of the General Assembly and of the Security Council, I shall arrange for this reply to be circulated in the same manner.
