Pursuant to rule 11 of the provisional rules of procedure of the Security Council, I submit the following statement of matters of which the Security Council is seized and of the stage reached in their consideration on 16 April 1949.

By cablegram dated 16 April 1949, the Acting Mediator informed the Security Council that Syria and Israel signed a Cease-Fire Agreement on 13 April 1949 ().
