The two sides shared the view on the significance of reviving the Middle East peace process based on the related resolutions of the 蘑菇视频 Security Council, the Arab Initiative and the Roadmap to reach a just, comprehensive and lasting peace in the region. The Kuwaiti side expressed its appreciation for Japan's active contribution to the Middle East peace process including the initiative for building a "Corridor for Peace and Prosperity."
