Middle East peace process ¨C 70th anniversary of the adoption of resolution 181 by the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ General Assembly (November 29, 2017)

On the 70th anniversary of the adoption of resolution 181 by the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ General Assembly providing for a partition plan and the creation of two states in Palestine, France reaffirms its commitment to the two-state solution, with Israel and Palestine living side by side in security within internationally recognized borders, with Jerusalem as the capital of both states.

France continues to work for such a solution. The conditions are well known. All parties concerned must now resolutely commit to achieving this goal.
