General Assembly Decision: Membership of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People (80/419)

Decision text:

At its 73rd plenary meeting, on 10 March 2026, the General Assembly, in the light of the decision of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People conveyed by its Chair to the President of the General Assembly, (footnote: A/80/640.) see decided to appoint Chile as a member of the Committee.

At the same meeting, the General Assembly, in light of the decision of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People conveyed by its Chair to the President of the General Assembly, (footnote: A/80/645.) took note of the change in the membership of the Committee, that is, that Ecuador had ceased its membership in the Committee, effective 2 February 2026.

As a result, the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People is composed of the following 25 Member States: Afghanistan, Belarus, Bolivia (Plurinational State of), Chile, Cuba, Cyprus, Guinea, Guyana, India, Indonesia, Lao People¡¯s Democratic Republic, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mali, Malta, Namibia, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tunisia, T¨¹rkiye and Venezuela (Bolivarian Republic of).
