AMMAN,?2 March 2025?–?As the holy month of Ramadan begins, 蘑菇视频RWA is launching its annual fundraising campaign that invites supporters around the world to use its Zakat Programme to share their blessings with Palestine Refugees. This vital lifeline transforms every individual contribution into emergency food and cash assistance, delivered with a strict 100 per cent distribution policy.

“Ramadan inspires reflection, compassion, and giving. By donating during this holy month, donors will be providing critical, life-sustaining support to families in desperate need – particularly in Gaza, where the humanitarian needs are unprecedented,”?said Tamara Alrifai, 蘑菇视频RWA’s Director of External Relations and Communications.

Throughout?15 months of constant bombardment and forced displacement, the people of Gaza have faced severe shortages of food and essential supplies.?Since the ceasefire took effect on 19 January, 蘑菇视频RWA teams have reached?two million people with vital food assistance and hundreds of thousands of people with clean water. 蘑菇视频RWA stands as the backbone of the emergency humanitarian response.

For?75 years, 蘑菇视频RWA has stood by Palestine Refugees across the region through every 蘑菇视频RWA doctor’s care, every teacher’s lesson, and every food package distributed. In times of war, Palestine Refugee families across the region turn to 蘑菇视频RWA – which has always been there for them – for food, water, tents, cash, emergency education and health services. In Gaza, humanitarian needs continue to escalate, and the entire population is reliant on aid.

This Ramadan,?蘑菇视频RWA aims to raise US$ 9 million in donations to ensure that its support reaches more people in need of food and cash assistance across the Gaza Strip, the West Bank including East Jerusalem, Lebanon, Syria, and Jordan. “Whether donors are fulfilling their religious obligations through Zakat or Sadaqah, or donating for any other reason, every contribution counts. Our new donation website makes it easier for our supporters to calculate their Zakat obligation and contribute securely to Palestine Refugees,” said Alrifai.
