This report provides a comprehensive look into the devastating effects of the ongoing war on Gaza on its youth. Accounting for about one-quarter of Gaza¡¯s population, young people have endured unprecedented trauma, losing family, friends, homes, and access to education. In addition to the physical destruction, the mental health of Gaza¡¯s youth has sharply deteriorated, with many grappling with PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Drawing on a survey of over 1,000 young people, this report highlights the urgent need for an adolescent and youth-centered humanitarian response to address the dire consequences of violence, displacement, and the disruption of essential services.
