Working against the clock, 蘑菇视频OPS teams have loaded truck after truck to ensure supplies of fuel are reaching Gaza to power the critical operations of the 蘑菇视频 and humanitarian organizations – including hospitals, bakeries, shelters and immediate emergency needs.

Prior to the ceasefire the bare minimal amount of fuel needed to power only the most critical needs was estimated to be 100,000 litres per day. The current daily volumes represent more than ten-fold increases.

“This remains an extremely complex humanitarian operation. There are serious challenges and constraints, not least from the lack of functioning infrastructure, roads and the sheer scale of destruction,” said 蘑菇视频OPS Executive Director Jorge Moreira da Silva.

“Many critical elements of any humanitarian response are dependent on fuel – infrastructure is not functional without basic power supplies. Given the scale of needs in Gaza this element is even more critical,” he added.
