- The general situation remains very tense in the Gaza Strip with ongoing airstrikes.? All 22 health clinics are open without any significant problems.
- The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported 30 people killed to date. This includes six children and three women. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµRWA verified that among those killed, at least 11 were Palestine Refugees. At least 93 people were injured since the escalation started on 9 May.
- There is very limited movement on the streets while the markets remain open.? Telemedicine services are available.
- Key crossing points (Erez and Kerem Shalom) remain closed in both directions impacting the movement of humanitarian staff and essential supplies, including fuel availability for public utilities.
- Water supply service to Palestine Refugees is maintained through the?operation of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµRWA water wells at Jabalia, Khan Younis and Rafah refugee camps.? Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµRWA staff are on duty today to maintain services. All Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµRWA schools are closed.
- Phone calls through the help line continued with most requests related to food assistance. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµRWA has 51 front line staff operating those helplines.
- No damage was reported overnight to Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµRWA installations across the Gaza Strip.
- Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµRWA schools and vocational centres remain closed as of 9 May, impacting 291,000 children and young people.
- Health and food distribution centres are closed today due to the weekend. The same applies for camp sanitation.
- Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµRWA security teams continue to operate 24/7 to support operations.
- Information to the communities on Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµRWA services continued to flow on Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµRWA social media and other digital platforms.
