On 29 November 2018, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ General Assembly will observe the annual International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, pursuant to General Assembly resolution 32\/40 B of 2 December 1977. The occasion marks the adoption by the General Assembly of resolution 181 (II) on 29 November 1947 partitioning the mandate of Palestine into two States.<\/p>\n
Events to commemorate Solidarity day will be held at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 28 – 30 November 2018.<\/p>\n
