Jordan<\/u>\u00a0said that many of the violations of the rights of Jordanians and others living in Jordan continued due to root causes that had gone unresolved despite a plethora of international resolutions from many United Nations bodies.\u00a0 For Palestinians, it would require ending the occupation and establishing a viable Palestinian State;<\/p>\n

Charitable Institute for Protecting Social Victims<\/u>\u00a0said that the main motive behind the United States\u2019 withdrawing from the Human Rights Council was to remove agenda item 7 on the Palestinian occupied territories from the Council\u2019s agenda.<\/p>\n

BADIL Resource Centre for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights<\/u>\u00a0said that in spite of the principles enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as well as the 1951 Geneva Convention, Palestinian refugees and internally displaced persons remained without a solution.\u00a0 Their claims for reparations were not exceptional but the lack of political will was the main obstacle.<\/p>\n
