What<\/u><\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0 The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA<\/a>) is marking the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, observed on the 29th of November of every year.<\/p>\n

When<\/u><\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Monday 26 at 11:00am<\/strong><\/p>\n

Where<\/u><\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ESCWA Headquarters, Riad el-Solh Square, Beirut, Lebanon<\/strong><\/p>\n

Why<\/u><\/strong>: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In 1977, the General Assembly called for the annual observance of 29 November as the\u00a0International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People<\/a>\u00a0marking the day when the Assembly adopted the resolution on the partition of Palestine in 1947, in support to the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n
