Draft resolution on the human rights situation in southern Lebanon and West Bakaa <\/u>(E\/CN.4\/1998\/L.80)<\/p><\/div>\n

17.  Mr. BAATI<\/u> (Tunisia), introducing the draft resolution, said that, in the first line of the penultimate preambular paragraph, the words “handed down” should be replaced by the words “made public”. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

 <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

18.  Mrs. KLEIN<\/u> (Secretary of the Commission) said that the delegation of Pakistan had become a sponsor of the draft resolution. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

 <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

19.  The CHAIRMAN<\/u> said he had the impression that the delegation of the United States of America wished the draft resolution to be put to the vote. <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

 <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

20.   At the request of the representative of Tunisia, the vote was taken by roll­call. <\/p><\/div>\n

 <\/p><\/div>\n

\n

21.   Poland, having been drawn by lot by the Chairman, was called upon to vote first. <\/p><\/div>\n
