"Palestine Remains My Melody": Marwan Abado fund-raising concerts<\/strong><\/p><\/div>\n

In May 1950, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA started its operations in the Middle East. To commemorate this 60th anniversary, Marwan Abado, an Austro-Palestinian artist and refugee, is holding five concerts to fundraise for Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA, starting this Sunday, 16 May, in Amman.

In 2005, Marwan Abado was named musician of the year in the category “World and Folk” in Austria. In 2006 his Album “KABILA” was selected the best album of the year in the same category. <\/p>\n

Marwan Abado was awarded the Austrian Federal Medal for intercultural dialogue in November 2008. <\/p>\n

The income from the ticket sales will be donated to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA in support of education projects. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA runs close to 700 schools in the Middle East and nearly 500,000 children attend classes.<\/p><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n
