01\/09\/2014 — The Government of Spain takes this opportunity to restate its well-known position regarding the illegality of the settlements, and has always condemned their establishment, maintenance and expansion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Spain considers this decision to be particularly unfortunate given the current delicate state of Israeli-Palestinian relations, in which all sides should refrain from any action which could interfere with progress towards peace after the cease-fire in Gaza, agreed on 26 August.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
