Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Information Center, Geneva)<\/p><\/div>\n

\t<\/span>Sir Raphael Cilento, Director of the Social Activities Division , Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Department of Social Affairs, left Geneva last night (29 July) for the Headquarters of Count Folke Bernadotte, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Mediator for Palestine, on Rhodes.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\t<\/span>His departure follows Count Bernadotte's request for assistance from the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Department of Social Affairs on the organization of social and humanitarian services in Palestine, in accordance with the Resolution adopted on 14 May by the second special session of the General Assembly.<\/p><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n

\t<\/span>Following his survey, Sir Raphael Cilento will report to Henri Laugier, Assistant Secretary-General in charge of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Department of Social Affairs.<\/p><\/div>\n
