FCO Minister condemns firing of rockets into Israel and highlights need for all parties to respect ceasefire agreement. <\/p><\/div>\n

Expressing concern at reports this morning of five rockets launched from Gaza towards the Israeli city of Ashkelon and of Israeli airstrikes in response, the Minister for the Middle East, Hugh Robertson said:<\/p><\/div>\n

\n\t\t\t\tI condemn the rockets fired at Ashkelon today in violation of international law. All parties must respect the November 2012 ceasefire agreement in full. The people of Gaza and Israel will only lose from further violence.<\/p><\/div>\n
