WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in a post on X that \u201chospitals should never be battlegrounds\u201d and to be \u201cterribly worried\u201d about the situation.<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;Palestinians in Gaza are enduring horrifying levels of hunger and suffering\u201d, said Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Secretary General Ant\u00f3nio Guterres outside the Security Council in New York, describing the IPC report as an &#8220;appalling indictment of conditions on the ground for civilians&#8221;. &#8220;This is the highest number of people facing catastrophic hunger ever recorded by the Integrated Food Security Classification system \u2013 anywhere.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Philippe Lazzarini, Commissioner-General of the U.N.
