In a media stakeout, Danny Danon, the Permanent Representative of Israel to the United Nations, expressed his gratitude to the US, UK, and France for convening a session of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Security Council. He described the current situation as “unprecedented” and addressed the criticism directed at Israel\u2019s military actions in Gaza. Danon remarked, “Many seem to have forgotten why we started this war, why we are fighting now in Gaza.” He emphasized that Israel has not forgotten the events of October 7th, stating, “We remember the faces, we remember the family, and we will not forget them.” Danon criticized the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Security Council for passing resolutions without condemning Hamas and noted, “The council has a moral obligation to adopt a very simple resolution that condemns Hamas, their atrocities, designate them as a terrorist organization, and demand the release of the hostages.”<\/p>\n
