The latest visa non-renewal of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵOCHA spokesperson for Gaza follows a pattern of actively\u00a0silencing aid workers<\/a>\u00a0from the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and international NGOs who are considered “too vocal” about what they have seen on the ground.<\/p>\n

Humanitarian workers have a duty to bear witness when international law is being broken.<\/p>\n

Increasingly, humanitarian partners are being forced to make a choice between being the \u201cvoice of the voiceless\u201d or being permitted to do their work at all.<\/p>\n
