\u2022 On 30 January, Israeli authorities announced that the Rafah Crossing will reopen in both directions on 01 February for limited movement of people, subject to prior security clearance. The crossing will operate in coordination with Egypt and under EU supervision.<\/p>\n
\u2022 On 20 January, a major fibre break between the \u201cYellow Line\u201d and the Israeli border east of Khan Yunis caused a significant connectivity outage in Gaza, further straining an already fragile network. Through ETC coordination and advocacy, Internet Service Provider (ISP) repair teams received access from 23 to 24 January, enabling the restoration of the link and the full return of connectivity services.
\n\u2022 ETC and partners relocated the digital VHF radio repeater from the WFP guesthouse in Deir Al Balah to the Khan Yunis Training Centre (KYTC), significantly improving coverage across southern Gaza.
