During the last two days at the Munich Security Conference I reiterated that Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA\u00a0is an asset for peace in Gaza – the Agency is essential for providing public services and for building the capacity of Palestinian institutions.<\/p>\n

We have the necessary workforce, expertise and community trust. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA\u2019s personnel provide some 18,000 medical consultations each day and play a critical role in supporting public health by vaccinating children, supplying clean water and managing waste. We have brought more than 60,000 children back to in-person learning coupled with psychosocial support.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
A ceasefire alone does not guarantee peace or stability. Palestinians in Gaza have the right to healthcare, education and other critical social services, which Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA is uniquely capable of providing.<\/div>\n
