In the face\u00a0of immense humanitarian\u00a0needs,\u00a0\u201cHand in Hand with Palestine Refugees,\u201d\u00a0is a campaign that\u00a0underscores Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA\u2019s commitment to stay alongside Palestine Refugees despite major funding shortfalls, severe restrictions on aid access\u00a0in\u00a0the occupied Palestinian territory\u00a0and\u00a0acute\u00a0attempts\u00a0to discredit the Agency using\u00a0disinformation.\u00a0At the heart of the campaign is the message \u201cYour Zakat Keep us here\u201d,\u00a0highlighting the enabling role of individuals, foundations and the private sector\u00a0when choosing to donate their Zakat to the Agency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dFamilies\u00a0in Gaza\u00a0are\u00a0facing\u00a0their third\u00a0consecutive Ramadan displaced, exposed,\u00a0and reliant on aid.\u00a0Donors from around the world continuously approach Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA to ask how they can help, and their generous contributions, including through\u00a0Zakat and Sadaqah\u00a0have enabled many of services to Palestinians in dire need to continue,\u201d\u00a0said Tamara Alrifai, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA\u2019s Director of External Relations and Communications.<\/p>\n<p>For\u00a0over\u00a075 years,\u00a0Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA has supported Palestine Refugees through healthcare\u00a0and\u00a0education\u00a0services, food, water and cash\u00a0assistance,\u00a0and\u00a0other\u00a0emergency support. In times of war and displacement, families\u00a0rely even more\u00a0on Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA.<\/p>\n<p>This Ramadan,\u00a0through Zakat,\u00a0we aim to reach\u00a0thousands\u00a0of families with emergency cash\u00a0assistance\u00a0in Gaza and food and cash assistance in\u00a0the West\u00a0Bank including East Jerusalem,\u00a0as well as in\u00a0Lebanon,\u00a0Syria and\u00a0Jordan.\u00a0100%t\u00a0of all Zakat donations are delivered directly to eligible Palestine Refugees, with no administrative deductions, in full compliance with Islamic principles.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the campaign, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA has also released its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/impact.unrwa.org\/islamic\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2025\u00a0Islamic Giving Impact Report<\/a>,\u00a0highlighting how donors\u2019 Zakat and Sadaqah supported Palestine Refugee families\u00a0across 2025\u00a0through food assistance, cash support and essential services.
