to\u00a0Israeli\u00a0Defense Minister Katz, Attorney General\u00a0Baharav-Miara, and Minister Smotrich, to demand the immediate cancellation of the government\u2019s decision to advance the process of land registration and \u201csettlement of title\u201d in Area C of the occupied West Bank.\u00a0The NGO\u00a0warned\u00a0that\u00a0implementation of this decision will result in the large-scale dispossession and expropriation of Palestinian land,\u00a0in order to\u00a0facilitate\u00a0its registration as Israeli \u201cstate land.\u201d Under IHL,\u00a0an occupying\u00a0power is prohibited from interfering with the private property of the protected civilian population except in cases of imperative military necessity, which is entirely absent in this instance.<\/span><span concrete immediate action to end annexation.\u00a0The NGO\u00a0warned\u00a0that the announced administrative and legalistic measures by Israel, aligned with\u00a0ongoing campaigns of escalating military and settler violence, are designed\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">to\u00a0facilitate\u00a0the rapid appropriation of Palestinian land and\u00a0the\u00a0forcible transfer of Palestinian families from their homes.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Such acts of direct and indirect transfer not only breach Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva\u00a0Convention,\u00a0but\u00a0are also\u00a0intended to prevent the exercise of the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to\u00a0self-determination and\u00a0deny the collective right of return.<\/span><span the\u00a0Adam\u00a0settlement\u00a0.\u00a0The NGO\u00a0informed\u00a0that\u00a0the plan entails the establishment\u00a0of\u00a0a new neighborhood of Jerusalem, expanding the city for the first time since 1967 into the\u00a0West Bank, without any territorial or functional connection between the area and\u00a0the\u00a0Adam\u00a0settlement.<\/span><span to Gaza.\u00a0The two NGOs informed\u00a0that\u00a0they had sent an urgent\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">letter to Israeli officials\u00a0\u2013\u00a0the Minister of Defense, the Attorney General, and the Military Advocate General\u00a0\u2013\u00a0following the reopening of the Rafah crossing in early February 2026.\u00a0The\u00a0NGOs\u00a0argued that under international law, the right of residents to return to their homeland is absolute, and that preventing the return of residents, imposing preconditions, and subjecting them to harassment and threats may constitute the crime of forcible transfer of a population, which is prohibited under the Geneva Conventions and constitutes a war crime.<\/span><span its\u00a0submission to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Special Rapporteur on Violence against Women and Girls.\u00a0The NGO\u00a0stated\u00a0that the\u00a0violence inflicted on Palestinian mothers is not only an attack on individual women and children, but an assault on the survival, dignity, and future of an entire people. Immediate international action is urgently\u00a0required\u00a0to end\u00a0the war on Gaza and to ensure accountability for Israel\u2019s crimes.<\/span><span
