OCHA reports that the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ and humanitarian partners continue daily collections of humanitarian cargo from Kerem Shalom, which remains the only operational crossing for supplies into the\u00a0Gaza Strip. Yesterday, teams brought in food, hygiene kits and latrine parts.<\/p>\n
Last week,\u00a0health\u00a0partners\u00a0provided\u202fnearly 240,000\u202fmedical consultations across 194 service points in Gaza. Acute respiratory illnesses and skin diseases remain the most frequently reported conditions, followed by acute watery diarrhoea.<\/p>\n
Partners\u00a0warn that health service delivery continues to be constrained by\u202fshortages or\u202fhigh costs\u202fof\u202ffuel,\u202fgenerator oil,\u202fspare parts, and\u202fmedical supplies.<\/p>\n
Emergency shelter\u00a0assistance\u00a0continues where\u00a0feasible.\u00a0Last week, partners supported over 4,000 households with shelter items\u00a0through\u00a0in\u2011kind\u00a0and cash aid. This included\u00a0tarpaulins, bedding, and tents.\u00a0Partners also upgraded over 400 makeshift shelters and repaired more than 300 damaged homes.<\/p>\n
Shelter partners warn that\u00a0fewer families\u00a0are\u00a0now receiving\u00a0their\u00a0support\u00a0compared with\u00a0previous months.\u00a0That\u2019s due to severe shortages\u00a0in\u00a0shelter materials,\u00a0linked to\u00a0import restrictions, limited access\u00a0to\u00a0some areas, funding\u00a0gaps\u00a0and other challenges.<\/p>\n
Moving to the West Bank, OCHA\u00a0warns that ongoing Israeli demolitions of Palestinian-owned structures and settler attacks in multiple areas are pushing Palestinians and communities to leave their current locations.<\/p>\n
In Ramallah\u00a0area,\u00a0OCHA\u00a0recorded\u00a0last week a series of settler attacks affecting two communities\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Dar\u00a0Faza\u2019a\u00a0and East Tayba Bedouin community\u00a0\u2013\u00a0and\u00a0both of these\u00a0are now\u00a0at\u00a0high risk\u00a0of displacement.<\/p>\n
In Kafr \u2018Aqab area of East Jerusalem, over 2,600 Palestinians were affected\u00a0last Monday,\u00a0when Israeli authorities\u00a0demolished\u00a0a multi-story\u00a0residential building and a road, damaging water, electricity and sewage networks and cutting off vehicular access.<\/p>\n
