Overview<\/h2><\/span>

The Meeting was convened under the auspices of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People. Its aim was to mobilize the international community in support of youth and women\u2019s initiatives on the ground and further raise awareness of the ways in which the energy and resourcefulness of youth and women can be harnessed to achieve a peaceful end to the Israeli occupation. Participants focused on how to empower women and youth through education, training and economic opportunities, and how to include them more in the political process. They also looked at social media networks and their impact on the building of an open Palestinian society, and considered the role of the international community, in particular, how Governments, Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ entities and international civil society organizations can better coordinate their efforts with Palestinian and Israeli youths and women organizations to achieve a peaceful solution to the question of Palestine.<\/p>\n

Le Comit\u00e9 pour l\u2019exercice des droits inali\u00e9nables du peuple palestinien souhaite mobiliser la communaut\u00e9 internationale en faveur des initiatives concr\u00e8tes men\u00e9es en faveur des jeunes et des femmes, et informer sur les moyens de mobiliser l\u2019\u00e9nergie et le potentiel de ces derniers pour mettre fin de fa\u00e7on pacifique \u00e0 l\u2019occupation isra\u00e9lienne. Les participants se pencheront sur les moyens de rendre les femmes et les jeunes ma\u00eetres de leur destin gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des mesures d\u2019\u00e9ducation et de formation, et en leur procurant des d\u00e9bouch\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques, et de les faire participer davantage \u00e0 la vie politique. Ils s\u2019int\u00e9resseront aussi aux r\u00e9seaux sociaux et \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont ils contribuent \u00e0 b\u00e2tir une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 palestinienne ouverte, et examineront le r\u00f4le que joue la communaut\u00e9 internationale, en particulier la mani\u00e8re dont les gouvernements, les entit\u00e9s des Nations Unies et les organisations de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 civile pourraient se coordonner plus efficacement avec les organisations palestiniennes et isra\u00e9liennes de jeunes et de femmes pour parvenir \u00e0 un r\u00e8glement pacifique de la question de Palestine.
