On 14 July 2020, the <\/span>Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People<\/span>\u202fheld its 401<\/span>st<\/span> meeting as a virtual event.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The main points of discussion related to potential international response to threats of annexation of parts of the <\/span>O<\/span>ccupied Palestinian <\/span>T<\/span>erritory by <\/span>Israel, the occupying Po<\/span>w<\/span>er<\/span>, recent pledges by Member States to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵRWA, and support to the Palestinian people in the context of the COVID19 crisis. Calling for solidarity with the Palestinian people, Member States expressed concern that any unilateral attempts at annexation would risk the two-State solution and would be construed as threat to international peace and stability.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
